Use of an eye bath
I have a new application for water and salt.
It is said to be able to help with acute and chronic eye problems.
It should also be possible to reduce poor presbyopia. And this again with a Himalayan salt water solution. The solution should contain at least 1% of the good salt. I use this Himalayan salt and use 1-2 grams per 100 ml of water. This results in a 1 – 2 % solution. The salt must be completely dissolved in the water.
This solution can be premixed in a 100 ml dropper bottle.
However, I currently use the solution that I drink in the morning. I prepare warm water and dissolve enough of the Himalayan salt in it to make it taste good and pleasant. I then pour some of this solution into the eye bath tubs. I fill them 3/4 full and use 2 of them, one for each eye. After I have filled the eye bath with the solution, I lean forward and place the eye baths on my eyes so that the water does not run out, i.e. horizontally. When I have pressed the eye baths lightly against my eyes, I lean my head backwards. So that the warm salt water wets or floods my eyes. It is important to hold the eye baths so that nothing runs out of the sides. Not too much pressure, but not too little either.
I put a towel underneath in case a few drops run out.
I now rinse my eyes with the soothing solution for at least 2 minutes. The eyeball absorbs the liquid and also the valuable geometric frequency of the solution. Presbyopia can obviously also be caused by dehydration of the eye. For chronic problems, I use this solution twice a day for several weeks and then refresh it from time to time. I noticed a slight improvement in reading after just 3 days. It also seems to me that I can see more clearly outside the focus area.
This is how I combine the soothing eye rinse with the warm water treatment.
I have noticed that the 1 % solution is not as pleasant on the eyes as a higher solution. In seawater, I can open my eyes under water and it is not unpleasant. That’s why I came up with the dosage with the pleasant taste. For my 4 cups of warm water, which I drink every morning, I use approx. 2 grams of Himalayan salt brine, which I make from this royal salt/halite salt .
